VHP of America is requesting to all noble citizens to donate generously to help the victims and
their families after the most devastating earthquake and Tsunami that hit Japan with a magnitude
of 8.9. It is believed that over 10,000 people may have been killed in the disaster and it could
have economic disaster in over a Trillion dollar. There is a possibility that the cores of some of
the nuclear power plants have been damaged and over 200,000 people are being evacuated from
the surrounding area near by the nuclear power plants. There is a serious danger of radiation
leaking from these damaged nuclear power plants.
VHP of America is the leading Hindu Organization that has raised funds and organized relief
efforts for the victims and their relatives in Haitian earthquake, Chile earthquake, Flooding in
Orissa and Maharastra, Gujarat earthquake, Hurricane Katrina, 911 bombing of the world trade
center, Tsunami in Far East and Chennai, India and many more disasters for last 30 plus years.
VHP of America has an impeccable record of SEVA because our volunteers provide self-less
service. Our administrative overheads are 9% and most of the funds raised go to the service of
intended victims of disasters.
