Thousands and thousands of houses have collapsed; about 200 villages have been wiped out of the face of the earth. Millions have been waiting for rescue, food, potable water, medicines, clothes, shelters, etc. The surging waters of the Kosi River continue to rise in Bihar for the 16th day Tuesday, inundating more areas.

With your help at the time of Gujarat Earthquake in 2001, VHP of America built the entire village of Lodai with 251 homes, school, community hall, dispensary, temple, water tank, bus stand, etc for $810,000 in 18 months.

With your help at the time of Tsunami in 2005, VHPA sent $200,000 for 45 fishing boats for the families to resume fishing and supporting the families. Each fishing boat supported six families.

With your help we were able to send volunteers to help on site at the time of Katrina disaster and raise funds to help the needy.
